Outstanding Graduate Student Awards
The Graduate School and the
Graduate Student Council are pleased to recognize and support academic
excellence with the Outstanding Graduate Student Awards.
We encourage you to nominate outstanding students for these awards.
The nomination process is described below.
The Graduate School and the
Graduate Student Council wish to honor Auburn’s 20 most outstanding graduate
students. Ten of those honored will
be in master’s or educational specialist programs and ten in doctoral programs.
You are invited to nominate one outstanding graduate student in your
department at the master’s/educational specialist level and another at the
doctoral level, if such programs are available in your department.
Nomination forms with vita and supporting letters attached, are due in
the Graduate School by 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2012.
From these nominations, a
committee will select 20 recipients for the calendar year 2011 Outstanding
Graduate Student Awards to be presented by the Graduate School at the Spring
2012 Graduate Student Council Awards Ceremony.
The awards are for student activities during and before the 2011 calendar
year.
The 2011 SGA Outstanding
Graduate Student will be selected from these 20 and honored by the SGA in early
2012.
Please contact Ms. Julie
Reece at 4-2125 or
