The Distance Learning Program of the Biggio
Center (which is merging with the Office of Distance Learning)
provides guidance and support for the development of distance education

Curriculum Course Review Process
1. Complete the form for
Addition and Revision of Courses and the
form for
Supplemental Information for Addition of Distance Education (DE) Course
2. Obtain approval of the
following:
a. Department Chair / Head
b. College / School Curriculum Committee (if any)
c. College / School Dean
3. Submit the approved forms to
Kevin Snyder for review and approval by the following:

c. Dean of the Graduate School

7. Submit the approved Request for a Banner Co

9. Submit to Kevin Snyder the paperwork
required for submission to the Board of Trustees and/or the Alabama
Commission on Higher Education.
a. A memo from the unit initiating the change (i.e., the
department), along with supporting documentation (e.g., the curriculum
model), addressed to the Dean of the College.
b. A memo from the Dean (not the Associate Dean) requesting
approval of the change, addressed to the Dean of the Graduate School.
