Graduate Student Ambassadors Program

 

If you enjoy meeting new people, sharing your experiences as an Auburn student, and developing your leadership potential, we invite you to apply to join the Graduate School Ambassadors.

This select group of students will assist in actively recruiting new students to the Graduate School by participating in off-campus and on-campus recruiting events, traveling, mentoring new students or sharing information with prospective new graduate students, serving as the official host for the Graduate School guests and events. 

Requirements:

·         Degree-seeking student (full-time preferred)

·         Preferred GPA of 3.5

·         Excellent Communication Skills

·         1 office hour each week (in the Graduate School)

·         Attend one recruiting event during the academic year

·         Making Satisfactory progress toward the completion of your degree

·         Approval of your advisor (major professor or thesis director) and the Graduate School

·         Attend Orientation once a year

·         Attend Leadership Retreat *

·         Attend Quarterly meetings

The deadline for applications for the 2012-2013 academic year is Friday, April 27, 2012.
